The Spiral Hexagon Blanket is a chunky, snuggly blanket that is perfect for movie nights on the couch!
The blanket features rainbow gradient spiral hexagons with a thin border. It was made using a bulky weight 5 yarn, so it has a really great weight to it and works up fairly quickly for such a large blanket. The blanket could easily be made with a lighter weight yarn if desired. The modular design makes it so you can add or subtract motifs to make it larger or smaller.
Difficulty: Advanced beginner. The hardest part is working with 6 yarns at once, but the blanket is made with all basic stitches (sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr)
Materials: 8 mm hook, Lion Brand Yarn Basic Stitch (3.5 oz / 87 yards, 65% recycled polyester / 35% amicor acrylic) in Clay, Spice, Maize, Olive Branch, Bluestone, Lavender Mist, Cement. You will need 4 skeins each
